About us
The Queen’s University Symphony Orchestra (QUSO) is a fully student-run and student-conducted orchestra, based in Queen’s University, Belfast. The Orchestra is made up of students and graduates from all all disciplines, enabling them to keep up their music-making alongside their studies or early career. QUSO enjoy playing a massively varied repertoire, from the symphonies of Tchaikovsky, Beethoven and Shostakovich to the movie music of today; pop classics to west-end musicals - we play it all!
Rehearsing every Tuesday evening, from 6:30-9:00pm in the Harty Room of QUB's Music Building, QUSO is open to all students, staff and recent graduates of Queen's University, as well as students and recent graduates of other third-level institutions in NI. Non-students are also welcome (note: QUB students may be given priority in cases of oversubscription).
